Scotia gives cash for gas until September end
SCOTIABANK, pushing its 100 per cent financing on new and used vehicles, has added a special ‘Cash for Gas’ promotion to further woo the car-buying public.
According to Simone Walker, regional marketing manager, customers purchasing new or used vehicles financed through Scotiabank, will qualify for a one-time payment of $10,000 to buy gasoline.
“This gift will be in the form of a cheque payable to each qualified customer,” Walker said. “You’ll have to get a Scotiawheels loan, then you qualify,” she added. How many customers wil benefit
Launched last Thursday, the cash for gas promotion will run until September 30.
And at last week’s launch Scotiabank and Executive Motors Limited (EML) partnered to host a “Mazda Car Show” on the grounds of the Scotiabank Centre, downtown, Kingston.
In fact, Scotia collaborated with the Mazda dealer to showcase vehicles and at the same time facilitate on-the-spot financing.
“Scotiabank has been doing this type of joint sales promotion with our valued car dealer partners since 2005 with the advent of our ScotiaWheels product,” said Tamiko Sadler, Scotiabank director of product delivery.
“EML is one of our very valued car dealer partners and recently we partnered with them to jointly showcase our products.
“EML displayed their latest models and our loan officers were on hand to discuss motor car financing options with prospective buyers,” added Sadler.
Executive Motors took the opportunity to highlight the award winning Madza 2 motor car, which won the World Car of the Year in 2008 receiving positive reviews for its fuel efficiency.
Sandra Lyn Shue, Executive Motors managing director, confirmed that similar displays of Mazda vehicles be replicated throughout the island over coming months.
