St Catherine curfews extended

THE curfews which were imposed in sections of the St Catherine north and south divisions have been extended. The curfews began at 7:00 pm Tuesday and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm tomorrow. The boundaries of the curfews are as follows:GRAVEL HEIGHTSMARCH PEN & CORLETTS ROADRIVOLIDAMHEAD/CRESCENT DISTRICTQUARRY HILLMANCHESTER LANETREDEGAR PARK#31 JOHNS ROAD

NORTH: Along an imaginary line from the Tredegar Park mining quarry to Gravel Heights entrance at the Sligoville main road;

SOUTH: Along an imaginary line from the Gravel Heights entrance at Tredegar Park to the Sligoville main road at Clinton Drive;

EAST: Along Sligoville main road between the Gravel Heights’ entrance and Clinton Drive;

WEST: Along Tredegar Park main road between the Gravel Heights’ entrance and the Tredegar Park mining quarry.

NORTH: Along Spanish Town Bypass between Dunbeholden Road and Holness Plaza;

SOUTH: Along the Toll Road between Dunbeholden Road and Bignal;

EAST: Along Dunbeholden Road between the Spanish Town Bypass and the Toll Road;

WEST: Along Corletts Avenue between Holness Plaza and Bignal.

NORTH: Along Monk Street from St. Jago High School to Leach Avenue;

SOUTH: Along Barrett Street between Red Church Street and the Rio Cobre bank;

EAST: Along an imaginary line along the Rio Cobre bank between St. Jago High School and Barrett Street;

WEST: Along Red Church Street between Leach Avenue and Barrett Street.

NORTH: Along Damhead Road from the intersection of Crescent main road to Cow Pen main road;

SOUTH: Along Melissa Crescent from Crescent main road to Cow Pen Lane;

EAST: Along Crescent main road from the intersection of Melissa Crescent to Damhead Road;

WEST: Along Cow Pen Lane from the intersection of Melissa Crescent to Damhead Road.

NORTH: Along the canal bank between the bridge at the train line and the Bernard Lodge main road;

SOUTH: Along a dirt road between Bernard Lodge main road and an imaginary line;

EAST: Along Bernard Lodge main road between the bridge at the train line and the Mount Zion Faith Temple Church;

WEST: Along an imaginary line between the canal bank and the dirt road.

NORTH: Along Williams Street between Cumberland Road and Prince Avenue;

SOUTH Along Manchester Street between Prince Avenue and Cumberland Road;

EAST: Along Cumberland Road between Manchester Street and Williams Street;

WEST: Along Prince Avenue between Williams Street and Manchester Street.

NORTH: Along an imaginary line at the cell tower between Tredegar Park main road and the Rio Cobre;

SOUTH: Along Ervin Drive between Tredegar Park main road and Jason Avenue, to the banks of the Rio Cobre;

EAST: Along Tredegar Park main road between the cell tower and Carlisle Avenue;

WEST: Aong the banks of the Rio Cobre, between the cell towers and Carlisle Avenue.

NORTH: Along St Johns Road from the intersection with #31 Lane to the intersection with #33 Lane;

SOUTH: Along an imaginary line from the bottom of #31 Lane to the intersection with #33 Lane;

EAST: Along #31 Lane from the intersection with St. Johns Road to the intersection with the imaginary line at the bottom of the lane;

WEST: Along #33 Lane from the intersection with St. Johns Road to the intersection with the imaginary line at the bottom of the lane;

GORDON PEN

NORTH: Along an imaginary line from Eltham Basic School to West End;

SOUTH: Along an imaginary line from the Rio Cobre to the light and power station;

EAST: Along an imaginary line from West End to the Rio Cobre;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from the light and power company to the Eltham Basic School.

LAURISTON

NORTH: Aong Bunny Blue Flag Boulevard from the intersection with the Rio Cobre beyond Rio Cobre Drive to Sligoville main road;

SOUTH: Along Kimberley Drive from Sligoville main road to the Rio Cobre;

EAST: Along Sligoville main road from Bunny Blue Flag Boulevard to Kimberley Drive;

WEST: Along Rio Cobre Drive from Kimberley Drive to Bunny Blue Flag Boulevard.

JONES AVENUE

NORTH: Along Greendale main road, from the intersection of Greendale main road and Manley Boulevard to Dempshire Pen;

SOUTH: Along the Spanish Town Bypass, from the intersection with Manley Boulevard to an imaginary line from Dempshire Pen;

EAST: Along Manley Boulevard from the intersection with Greendale main road to the Spanish Town Bypass;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from Dempshire Pen main road from the intersection of Greendale main road and Dempshire Pen main road, to the Spanish Town Bypass.

RAILWAY PREMISES/DALLAS LANE

NORTH: Aong Burke Road from the intersection of Salt Pond Road to the intersection of Oxford Road;

SOUTH: Along the Spanish Town Bypass from the intersection of Salt Pond Road to the intersection of Oxford Road;

EAST: Along Salt Pond Road from the intersection of Burke Road to the intersection of the Spanish Town Bypass;

WEST: long Oxford Road from the intersection of Burke Road to the intersection of the Spanish Town Bypass.

DELA VEGA CITY

NORTH: Along an imaginary line at Dela Vega City playing field from Port Henderson Road to Salt Pond Road;

SOUTH: Along the Spanish Town Bypass from Port Henderson Road to Salt Pond Road;

EAST: Along Port Henderson Road from Dela Vega City playing field to the Spanish Town Bypass;

WEST: Along Salt Pond Road from the Spanish Town Bypass to Dela Vega City playing field.

BRUNSWICK AVENUE

NORTH: Along an imaginary line from Angels Farm to Brunswick Avenue;

EAST: Along Brunswick Avenue from the Northern boundary to Wynters Pen;

SOUTH: Along Wynters Pen from Brunswick Avenue to Angels Farm;

WEST: Along Angels Farm from Wynters Pen to the Northern boundary.

RAT TOWN, WATERFORD

NORTH: Along a gully from Shenton Avenue to the western boundary;

SOUTH: Along a dirt track from the western boundary to Shenton Avenue;

EAST: Along Shenton Avenue from the dirt track to the gully;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from the gully to the dirt track.

BIG LANE, CENTRAL VILLAGE

NORTH: Along an imaginary line from Big Lane to the New Testament Church of God;

SOUTH: Along the Rio Cobre bank from Big Lane to an imaginary line leading from the New Testament Church of God to the river;

EAST: Along Big Lane from the imaginary line leading from the New Testament Church of God to the Rio Cobre bank;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from the New Testament Church of God to the Rio Cobre.

ZAMBIA/BROWN’S LANE

NORTH: Aong Zambia main road, between Brown’s Lane and an imaginary line;

SOUTH: Along the canal bank, between an imaginary line and Brown’s Lane;

EAST: Along Brown’s Lane between Zambia main road and the canal bank;

WEST: Along an imaginary line between the Zambia main road and the canal bank.

During the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the members of the security forces in charge of enforcing the curfews.
