Singing Melody drops video for Collide
WITH his soon-to-be released album They Call Me Mr Melody on the way, reggae recording artiste Singing Melody is hitting the streets with a video for the official lead-out single Collide.
The video, which was directed by seasoned videographer Asha McHail of Fareye Films whose portfolio includes videos for I-Octane, Etana and Alaine, tells a story of a man being released from prison and reuniting with his family.
Shot on several locations across Kingston, the one-day shoot captured the message of Collide, a song which, for Melody, holds a double meaning.
“Outside of the obvious storyline, Collide also represents the re-emergence of Singing Melody as a recording artiste. It’s a new beginning for me as I reunite with my fans who have remained loyal over the years. This song is loved by many people and as such I decided to do a cover of it for my album as a gift to the fan base across the world.”
Best known for his hit singles Want You Back and Say What, Singing Melody is showing no signs of slowing down as his love for heart warming music is now more obvious than ever before.
