Tat it like Beckham

With his blonde hair, tight T-shirt, extensive tattoo collection and coveted VIP seat in the front row of the basketball game, spectators could have been forgiven for thinking David Beckham was in their midst. But joining his wife Yvonne Keating to watch the Sydney Kings vs Melbourne Tigers, Irish pop star Ronan Keating looked a dead ringer for the football hero.

Sitting in the front row just like Becks — who is a regular at LA Lakers games — Keating cheered and whooped during the game at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

A part of his newfound similarity to Beckham is Keating’s rapidly growing beard and moustache. The Boyzone star has stopped shaving and started to grow a moustache as part of ‘Movember’, to raise money for prostate cancer.

Although not so famous for his tattoos as Beckham, Keating actually has at least 12 etchings. Speaking about his tattoos recently, Keating said: “I started when I was 18 — and I’m getting another one done. I have a bonsai tree on my arm and I’m getting some cherry blossom put behind it.

There is also a tattoo on my back that says: ‘The future is unwritten.’ That’s a Joe Strummer quote.”

Bring your own wine!

Most high-brow parties don’t usually ask guests to bring their own wine.

But that’s exactly what Kate Moss appeared to do recently when she arrived at the Dazed & Confused 20th birthday party in London. Arriving at the plush W London Hotel in a sexy black mini-dress, the 37-year-old was carrying a glass of wine… presumably a souvenir from her dinner.

Looking slightly worse for wear as she entered the Leicester Square hotel through the back door, she was accosted by a homeless man, whom she was happy to talk to. However, her socialite friend Annabelle Neilson was understandably eager to get out of the rain and dragged the model inside.

Once in the hotel’s Wyld bar, they joined the likes of Jaime Winstone, Pixie Geldof, Amber Le Bon and Henry Holland. The supermodel had started off the night at an exhibition at Somerset House to mark the 20th anniversary of the hip publication.

Then she popped into a nearby restaurant before ending the evening at the Wyld bar for the main Dazed & Confused 20th celebrations. Moss was at the event to support ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Jefferson Hack, who founded the publication.

Are those shoes appropriate for yoga?

She’s been spotted shivering on the sideline as she watched her husband film his latest movie.

But last week, it was time for Katie Holmes to take a bit of time for herself with a yoga class.

While most women want to relax their feet after a hard workout, the actress opted for a pair of highheeled boots. The shoes looked bizarre paired with her comfortable grey tracksuit, make-up free face and scruffy hairdo. She looked exhausted after the class in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as she clutched a bottle of water and a pink mat while making her way back to her car.

The 32-year-old actress is in the town to support her Hollywood heavyweight husband Tom Cruise, 49, who is filming One Shot. Their daughter Suri, four, is also there with them and joined her mother to watch the movie star in action over the weekend.
