Celine to join list of int’l perfomers at jazz fest
ORGANISERS of the annual Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival have scheduled a press conference for tomorrow at the Iberostar hotel in St James, where they are expected to announce the details of the event’s staging next year as well as the appearance of headliner Celine Dion.
The 2012’s staging is scheduled for January 26 to 28.
Canadian songbird Celine Dion will join a long list of international acts who have appeared on the festival since its inception in 1996.

The Australian band Air Supply has also played to a local cult following with their vast catalogue of love songs. In 2008, American songstress Anita Baker delivered her brand of music at the festival.
Other international acts including Ashford and Simpson, Earth Wind and Fire, Erykah Badu, Mary J Blige, Lionel Richie, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Jill Scott, Alicia Keys and India.Arie, have graced the local stage at this event.
