Flexxing with Romeich
Known for his dynamic and stylish fashion designs, Romeich Major is making the same waves in the music industry.
Over the past year, Romeich Records has released eight riddims and numerous singles including the most recent collaboration between Alaine and Chris Martin.
“I have Still In Love, which is getting good rotation on the radio, but this year what I am really pushing is the career of the artiste on the label, Versatile,” Romeich said.
Versatile appears on Romeich’s latest riddim — Steppings — which is his fifth dancehall offering with riddim-mates Tarrus Riley, Beenie Man, Serani, TOK, Teflon, I-Octane, Twins of Twins, etc, that was released to catch the Christmas buzz.
Noting that his most successful riddims are Table Fi Table and Bank Inna Mi Pocket, Romeich says he has his ear to the ground for one-drop and reggae riddims.
“Look out for one-drop riddims and singles like the song from Versatile and I-Octane (Nah Eat) and the video is out,” he explained.
As we detailed last year February, Romeich is the CEO of his own little empire, which not only includes music production and fashion designing, but he also runs his family’s company that supplies lumber and makes furniture, and has tried his hand at a lyming spot, all at his 1 1/2 Campbell Boulevard headquarters.
This 27-year-old Ardenne High alum, is serious when it comes to business.
