Hotelier gets green light for Ms Universe pageant
DIMITRIS Kosvogiannis, general manager of the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa, yesterday secured the rights to host the local leg of Miss Universe Pageant 2012.
The elated hotelier said it was his team’s hard work that had paid off. “We intend to bring a new sense of passion, elegance and to see to the development of the contestants,” he told the Observer. In May 2009, Kingsley Cooper, CEO of Pulse modelling agency, ended his 20-year relationship with the event.
