Brooks replaces injured Bravo in ‘A’ squad
ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC) — Former West Indies Under-19 skipper Shamarh Brooks has been called up by selectors for the second A team “Test” against Bangladesh starting Saturday in St Lucia.
The 23-year-old fills the spot made vacant by Dwayne Bravo who was forced to withdraw from the squad for the first game in Antigua because of injury.
Brooks, a stylish right-hander who bowls leg-spin, has led the High Performance Centre squad in recent times.
He will join an unchanged 12-man side from the opening Test of the two match series which finished in a draw.
