Paying tribute to Dr Ena Thomas
Dear Editor,
I read where doctors and professors will be hosting the 38th Dr Ena Thomas lecture and symposium at the Pegasus Hotel.
I would like to ask just two questions:
1. Do any of the doctors or professors know where Dr Ena Thomas is buried?
2. Has anyone in the medical profession, who knows the work of Dr Ena Thomas, ever thought of erecting a monument (nothing big) on her grave?
This was done for Ernest Henry Starling, who was born in London April 17, 1866, died at sea April 30, 1927 and buried in the St Andrew Parish Church cemetery.
Doctors of the medical profession, let’s honour one of our own, who has been so outstanding in the medical field.
If anyone in the medical field or otherwise is interested in locating the grave of Dr Ena Thomas, please feel free to make contact for more information via e-mail: jamespatricia16@yahoo.com
