In full bloom!
Her baby bump has caused considerable controversy in recent weeks with critics analysing the size and shape of her pregnant figure in great detail. But Beyoncé was looking marvellous as she stepped out to launch her latest DVD.
The mummy-to-be was dressed in a stunning floor-length dress with plunging neckline and embellished gold detail. The 30-year-old pop star is currently pregnant with her first child with husband Sean ‘Jay-Z’ Carter.
Beyoncé first revealed her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, announcing it on the red carpet and again on stage as she patted her stomach after belting out a rendition of Love on Top. She said: “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” But the authenticity of her baby bump came under fire after an interview on Australian television hinted that she was wearing a prosthetic bump.
As she sat down during the chat with local TV personality Molly Meldrum on the Sunday Night programme, it appeared the bump got squashed. Just days later she caused another furore on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon performing with a flat stomach: only to explain that it was pre-recorded.

Curvy Christina Aguilera hits another bum fashion note
It’s supposed to hold you in, but it seems Christina Aguilera’s bandage dress was somewhat challenged as she appeared onstage Sunday night. Aguilera continued with her recent streak of fashion disasters at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles. The Voice star bulged out of her bandage-style silver dress while performing the smash hit single Moves Like Jagger with Maroon 5.
The figure-hugging minidress was a little on the small, short and tight side for her curvier figure, but she didn’t seem to mind as she flaunted it in all its glory. As she was raised onto the stage mid-song on a glittery silver podium, Christina looked significantly heavier than the size four she has claimed to be.
And her protruding belly sparked a flurry of speculation online as to whether the singer was pregnant again. Her hair, which she wore in long curls, was heavily bleached and she finished off the brassy look with silver sequinned peep-toe platforms and glittery eye shadow.

Balancing Act
Who better to teach children about the meaning of the word balance than someone who spends a lot of time with Spider-Man? So Emma Stone, 23, who plays Gwen Stacy, opposite rumoured boyfriend Andrew Garfield in the reboot of the franchise, is the perfect candidate for the role. And as scientists insist that children respond well to a pretty face, she has the edge in this department.
Her video for Sesame Street is adorable, as she tries to balance a stack of books on her head. The Amazing Spider-Man actress teamed up with fairy-in-training Abby Cadabby for the educational short. Emma is in New York City’s Soho neighbourhood with Garfield for Spider-Man reshoots. Glimpses from the set, show the actress looks wonderful in the part — which is a perfect fit for her pale good looks.
But Emma admitted recently that she didn’t always see her porcelain skin as a plus point. “You tend to look like a thumb, you know, you’re just all one shade when you’re this pale. There was a time where I could not stand the pale. I’m from Arizona, and everyone is very, very tan,” she told Contactmusic.
