Today’s TEEN Chef Tip is courtesy of Executive Chef Karl Thomas
1 — Sandwiches can be made with any meat of your choice such as chicken or turkey slices, instead of ham.
2 — The order of the ham slices and cheese is important. This is to prevent the sandwich from sliding apart as the melted cheese will keep all the ingredients glued together.
3 — Chiffonade is a technique for slicing herbs and leafy vegetables into long, thin strips. To chiffonade something, stack into a small pile and roll then slice crosswise.
