Bamboo host Fogo in rescheduled match
BAMBOO, Hanover — Bamboo FC will host Fogo United next Tuesday in a rescheduled Jamaica Football Federation’s Captain’s Bakery and Grill Western Confederation’s Super League Zone Two game. Kick-off is 3:00 pm.
The game was blown off earlier last month due to bad light and was set to be played before the league resumes tomorrow following the Christmas break.
Just two points separate the two teams, but a win for Bamboo over the promoted St James side would see them move into joint lead with Savannah FC on nine points.
Bamboo have won two of their three games played so far but have scored just four goals and conceding five, while Fogo have won one, lost one and drawn the other with three goals for and three against.
Granville FC of St James lead Zone One with eight points from four games, one more than Frome FC, while Catherine Hall and Wadadah are tied on five points each.
Tomorrow’s’s games will see Savannah taking on Tomorrow’s People, Bamboo and Mt Pelier meeting, Jericho and Catherine Hall will meet at Elgin Town while Harmony and Fogo will battle at Bounty Hall.
