Two truck drivers killed in Highway 2000 crash

TWO truck drivers were killed in a collision along Highway 2000 this afternoon while several other persons have been injured and taken to hospital.Sunday Observer for more details.

The dead men have not yet been identified.

One of the trucks is owned by the University of the West Indies (UWI) while the other is owned by Caribbean Broilers.

Eyewitnesses say the UWI-owned truck had a punctured tyre and the driver and another man were in the process of changing the tyre when the other truck rammed into the parked vehicle killing the driver and injuring other men.

The driver of the other vehicle was also killed.
