German on child porn rap remanded again

THE German businessman accused of being the mastermind behind an alleged pornography ring and fertility centre in Jamaica was further remanded into custody when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Sven Littkowski, 49, who has been in custody since January 11, was remanded into custody by Senior Magistrate Judith Pusey and a new date was scheduled for March 21 in order for the prosecution to furnish Littkowski’s attorney, Aon Stewart, with copies of the alleged sex video before a bail application is made.

The accused, who is facing three counts of child pornography, was arrested and charged following a police operation at his home in St Andrew where police said they seized several computers and hard drives, on which sexually explicit photographs and videos of minors were stored.

Detectives from the Organised Crime Investigation Division have also reported that they have found evidence to indicate that Littkowski illegally performed the duties of a doctor who could provide fertility treatment for women.

Littkowski is also before the court on a charge of practising medicine without a licence following allegations that he injected a woman in her buttocks, claiming he could enlarge them and remove stretch marks.

Littkowski was also fined last year after pleading to guilty to overstaying his time in the country.
