Hague agri show today
HAGUE, Trelawny — Today’s staging of the Hague Agricultural and Livestock Show in Trelawny promises to be one of the best in recent years.
The show, which, in the late 1960s and 1970s was seen as the biggest and best cattle show in the Caribbean, is held in association with the Jamaica Agricultural Society.
The entertainment package promises to be a treat as it includes top deejays Bounty Killer, Khago, Wayne Marshall, Cali P and Food Kartel.
Also on the show are Singing Bird, Tonto Blacks, Land Mine, Stylish and former Digicel Rising Star contestant Jermaine Michaels.
Food Kartel, who has been making a name for himself on the entertainment circuit in recent years with songs which constitutes cuisine based lyrics, believes his type of lyrics is “par for the course”.
” I have the recipe to provide the patrons in Trelawny with the ideal family entertainment, flavoured with much comedy. I highlight food and this is an agricultural show, so I am confident I will be well received at this show similarly to the food festivals I have done,” Food Kartel told the Observer.
The entertainment segment will be hosted by Apache Chief and Sarge while Trema Band will be the backing band. Music will be provided by Interceptor.
Entertainment coordinator of the event, Brenton Bewry promises improved security features for the venue.
