Freida turns up the heat

Since leaping to fame in Slumdog Millionaire four years ago, Freida Pinto has become a regular on ‘most beautiful women in the world’ lists. But in a glossy new photo shoot, the Indian actress has revealed her rarely seen sexy side as she peels off for a raunchy new interview. The 27-year-old talks frankly about her nude scenes in her latest film Trishna – an Indian-set reworking of Tess Of The d’Urbervilles — in the April issue of Esquire UK magazine. Pinto briefly appears naked in a sex scene in the Michael Winterbottom-directed film, but recently admitted she enlisted a butt double for the sequence.

When asked about filming the scenes, she tells Esquire: “It was hard but it was a small crew, and they were good at not making their presence felt. They didn’t go, ‘Quick! She’s nearly naked! Get your camera out!'” Pinto is now living with her English boyfriend Dev Patel, 21, who handpicked her to be his love interest in Slumdog Millionaire. She recalled: “They asked him, ‘Out of the girls, who would you take on a date?’ And apparently he chose me.” She admitted they often watch their early interviews together on YouTube. She said: “The two of us are all over the place. We’re laughing at each other’s jokes and they’re not funny at all, but we’re just encouraging each other.”

She’s still got it!

She said in a recent interview that she would never call herself a supermodel because she doesn’t ‘have any superhuman powers’. But Naomi Campbell appears to be continuing to defy the ageing process, as she once again took to the catwalk to close the Roberto Cavalli show in Milan Fashion Week in typically stunning style. The 41-year-old model looked as glamorous as ever as she took to the catwalk in a plunging and backless black dress, which made the most of her incredibly toned figure. Naomi wore her glossy black hair loose around her shoulders as she joined her fellow models on the catwalk to showcase Cavalli’s most eye-catching evening wear.

Naomi has spoken previously about how she maintains her incredible physique, revealing in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2009 that she diets on a cocktail of Maple syrup, cayenne pepper, lemon juice and water. She said: “I try to do this three times a year. The most I’ve ever done it for is 18 days. It’s good just to clean out your body once in a while.” The model added that she relies on gyrotonic workouts — an exercise plan which uses movements usually found in gymnastics, yoga and pilates — to stay slim. “As we all get older, everything changes and moves, and there are natural ways to exercise. I think it’s important, and I think it’s something that can help keep things in place.”

Katy Perry smoulders!

It’s been said that looking good is the best revenge, and Katy Perry is living proof of that statement. Though her ex-husband has just stepped out with his new girlfriend just two months after they announced their divorce, he might be regretting his decision yet. The pop star is virtually unrecognisable, yet absolutely stunning in a sexy new photo shoot for the March issue of Interview magazine. Though the 27-year-old has a fabulous figure, she’s better known for being quirky rather than seductive. She shows a different side of herself on the Interview cover with thick, winged black eyeliner, pale lips and teased, bed-head hair. She recently released the single Part of Me, a break-up anthem which is currently topping the Billboard charts. A sample of the lyrics include: This is the part of me that you’re never gonna ever take away from me, throw your bombs and your blows but you’re not gonna break my soul. While she was busy attending Elton John’s annual Oscar viewing party, Brand was snapped out in West Hollywood with a new mystery woman. The new couple were seen leaving the Crystalarium shop, which specialises in selling minerals and crystals. He announced he was divorcing Perry in December; the two signed divorce documents earlier this month.
