Cavaliers nearing Super League title
CAVALIERS could wrap up their third consecutive KSAFA Super League title this afternoon if they can beat Constant Spring and hope that Rae Town lose against Duhaney Park in today’s round of matches.
Cavaliers play away to Constant Spring at the Spring Complex, while Rae Town entertain Duhaney Park at Breezy Castle.
In other games, UWI host August Town at UWI Bowl, Barbican take on Rockfort at Barbican field, Greenwich Town play away to Olympic Gardens at Cling Cling Oval, and Santos are at home to Mountain View in the East Kingston derby. All games start at 3:30 pm.
Cavaliers hold a seven-point lead over nearest rivals Rae Town, with four games remaining, so a win for the league leaders this afternoon and defeat for Rae Town would put Cavaliers 10 points ahead with three games to go.
However, Rae Town will be hoping for the opposite, as defeat for Cavaliers and victory for them would put them in a much better position to challenge for the title going into the final stretch.
