Waterhouse swop places with Lion
WATERHOUSE blanked Humble Lion 3-0 to move to third with 55 points when both teams met in their Red Stripe Premier League match at Drewsland on Sunday.
Humble Lion dropped to fourth on 54 points.
Following an evenly contested first half in which no goals came, Humble Lion through Ziecko Herrera, handed hosts Waterhouse a surprise lead nine minutes into the second session when he unwittingly beat his unaware goalkeeper Garth Heron with a back pass.
This was the opening an ambitious-looking Waterhouse were looking for following some earlier threatening moments.
Youth player Damarley Samuels, playing his second full game in front of his home crowd, added a second when he beat Heron from a tight angle in minute 65.
Waterhouse were not done and struck once again through Weston Forrest in the 74th minute and sealed the issue.
