Year-round tax education necessary
Dear Editor,
I refer to ideas about taxing education to improve tax compliance.
A team approach is required for nation building. I suggest that tax educators work with the Ministry of Education to integrate the objectives of taxation as a component of the SBA in the English, maths, business and social studies syllabi, or have tax education as a separate compulsory subject.
It is feasible and will have a positive outcome. Also, we need to have year-round tax education via the media for everyone’s benefit.
