Spring is as much about colours as it is about soft feminine nudes. Last week we featured some of these looks using luxurious lace and silks, and this week we continue with the soft colour palette, but using knits. We embellished and accessorised with lace, pearls and brooches to enhance the soft, feminine sophisticated look

Look 1 is a dusty pink knit, draped into a wrap dress that closes at the side using an embellished lace and pearl brooch.

Look 2 is an ivory knit made into a simple tube maxi. To make it:

1. Cut front and back, making it fitted on top with a soft mermaid flair to hem

2. Join front to back

3. Insert elastic at the top back

4. Create soft gathers at bust

5. Hem

Look 3 is the same dress, to which we’ve added a lace bib. This transforms the simple dress to a casual bridal feel.

Look 4 is a khaki/nude knit that was intricately draped to Coleen’s form, for a younger more hip and modern look.
