Man killed in St Mary accident

ONE man was killed while another has been hospitalised in critical condition following a motor vehicle crash yesterday morning in St Mary.

The dead man has been identified as David Wheaterly otherwise called ‘Rattigan’ of Charles Town in St Mary.

The injured man, 34-year-old mechanic, Cedric Walton remains in hospital in critical condition.

Walton was reportedly the driver of a motor truck in which the two men were traveling from St Mary towards St Ann yesterday morning.

He reportedly loss control of the vehicle which hit an embankment and overturned in a ditch at Spring Valley near Rio Nuevo in the parish.

Wheaterly died on the spot.
