Police drub KSA in Junior Cup contest
POLICE SC overwhelmed hosts Kingston & St Andrew CA by 127 runs in a cross-zone encounter at Maxfield Park on Saturday to seal a semi-final spot in the Jamaica Cricket Association Junior Cup competition.
Half-centuries from Jerome Lewis and Robert Brooks pushed Police to 228 all out against Andre Stennett, who took 3-15.
Kingston & St Andrew were dismantled for 101 as Harole Vassell snatched 3-22 and Phillips Smith finished with 2-20.

Police lead Zone B with 10 points after the round of matches, while Kingston & St Andrew sit at the base of Zone A with only one point.
In the Zone B clash at Chedwin Park, the visitors St Elizabeth CA blew away St Catherine CC by 182 runs.
Ryan Smith top-scored with an even 50 in St Elizabeth’s 217 and returned to grab 2-4 as St Catherine were dismissed for a spineless 35. Romario Banton took 3-8.

Both teams prop up the base of the table with four points each, while either second-placed GC Foster (seven points) and the Jamaica Defence Force (six points) are in prime position to join Police in the semis.
University of the West Indies (12 points) and Kingston CC (10 points) have already taken top spots In Zone A.
