Nicole Scherzinger made permanent judge on The X Factor UK

She may have been unceremoniously axed from her judging role on X Factor USA after just one series, but stunning Nicole Scherzinger is now set to join the UK series as a full-time judge, with her role confirmed by ITV recently. The 33-year-old was a stand-in judge at the London auditions last month — and has previously been a guest judge at auditions on the ITV talent hit.

Talking about her new role, Nicole said: “I’m so excited to join the UK X Factor family. It’s where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.I can’t wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists.” And Peter Fincham, director of television, ITV, added: “Nicole will bring her wealth of experience, both as a solo artist, and as a member of a group, to this year’s Judging panel. We’re delighted that she’ll be joining us for the forthcoming series.”

Nicole will begin her full-time judging role when the auditions hit Newcastle today. The X Factor will return to screens in August, with live shows from October and Miss Scherzinger would join Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos on the judging panel.

Gaga back with boyfriend Taylor Kinney

She was rumoured to have rekindled her relationship with Vampire Diaries star Taylor Kinney earlier this month. And it seems that Lady Gaga is definitely back together with the actor, judging by their behaviour on her hotel balcony in Australia recently.

The couple put on an amorous display of affection, cuddling up as they took in the stunning views. Taylor, 30, had jetted into the Land Down Under earlier in the day and headed straight to the 26-year-old singer’s Brisbane hotel.

It was a rare day off for the superstar and before long they were driven away for a private lunch at the city’s Cha Cha Char steakhouse. Soon after heading back to the hotel they were spotted on a balcony.Taylor enjoyed a cigarette while Gaga, who was wearing just a white T-shirt, gazed at him adoringly and gave him a cuddle.

The couple split in early May after 10 months together with sources saying her crazy schedule was to blame. However, they now appear to have decided to give their relationship another chance.Rumours that they had rekindled their romance came earlier this month.

Rihanna not happy at size Zero

Although many celebrity women strive to achieve the tiny and often elusive size zero figure, Rihanna isn’t too happy with her own shrinking frame. “I’m a size zero — and not happy about it,” she told Us Magazine. “I went way too far. I prefer myself a bit chunkier. I want my old butt back.”

The star failed to disguise her tiny figure in a baggy bright red sweater, which she teamed with matching trousers for dinner at Da Silvanos restaurant in New York recently. Rihanna told Us that her slim-line figure is down to her ultra-hectic schedule, after she made the leap to the big screen with the film Battleship. “I want to do two more [movies] before touring again next year,” she told the magazine. “My schedule is crazy.” The singer was even hospitalised with fatigue after her appearance at the Met Ball last month, famously tweeting a photograph of herself with an IV in her arm. “I got no sleep [beforehand],” she explained to Us. “It’s harsh on your body!” A friend told UK Look magazine: “She’s reached breaking point. Ri says she’s physically and mentally exhausted and feeling lost.”
