ATL Auto eyes hike in car sales
WITH over 15,000 genuine auto parts in stock, the phenomenal growth of ATL Automotive is expected to go into overdrive with the anticipated increase in car sales following the opening of its new Genuine Parts Centre at 147-169 lower Hagley Park Road set for Monday, July 2, 2012.
CEO Adam Stewart says the Parts Centre boasts approximately 12,000 sq ft of usable space, housing a stock profile of line items including service parts, body parts, suspension parts, computers, lifts and “everything a car needs to ensure it remains where it should be — on the road!”
The parts centre will cater to the after sales service needs of drivers of all ATL Automotive’s brands beginning with Audi, VW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, and Honda at a later date.
Stewart says while the company is aiming for the Parts centre to be profitable, its main purpose is to instil confidence in buyers of its brands, thereby facilitating the sale of new cars.“
A car is a major investment and people want to know that when they buy world class-brands like ours, there is a guarantee on the back end, that there is a state-of-the-art facility available to help maintain and protect that investment. This will safeguard our customers’ investment in our brands so it not only enhances their satisfaction but also retains their cars’ resale value,” he explained.
In addition to the parts centre, the location will house a 32,000 sq ft body shop and a 3,000 sq ft technical training centre for the staff of both automotive and Commercial companies. “The body Shop will be a state-of-the-art facility fully equipped with the latest technology to repair and refinish all our brands — the kind of facility that has never been seen in Jamaica before,” Stewart said.
