Age is not the Enemy

Saturday Beauty

Aging is a natural process, if you really think about it; we start aging the minute we are born! But in truth many of us show age more than others, which is why I want to introduce a concept of your skin’s age versus your biological age. Think of it this way, you see someone and have to wonder how old they really are because if you were to judge based on their skin, you probably would be wrong, guessing either older or younger depending on the skin care regimen of the person. That is the premise on which the innovative Collagen-Hyaluronic Facial Treatment and Anti-Aging Serums and Creams by SOTHYS Paris are based. We want you to look much younger than you really are!

What are Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid?

Collagen is the principal protein of the skin and connective tissue. It is an essential part of the framework of the design of the body and assists in maintaining the firmness of skin. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is normally produced by the body; it is what gives skin its volume and fullness. These are the two powerful natural active ingredients in the proven anti-aging Collagen-Hyaluronic facial. They work together to prevent the signs of aging specifically loss of elasticity and slackening of the tissue as well as loss of plumpness. This facial includes a series of very relaxing yet invigorating Digi-Esthetique massage movements and plumping pinches which ensure a visible change after the first treatment. However, it is recommended that a series of Collagen-Hyaluronic facials along with intermittent Resurfacing Peeling treatments are combined to produce the best results.

Skin’s Age vs Biological Age

The uniqueness of this anti-aging facial treatment is that it is customised to the client’s needs based on the age of the skin and not on the person’s biological age. Your skin’s age is determined by a pre-treatment analysis while you are seated upright. It focuses on the depth and location of expression lines, fine lines and wrinkles as well as the firmness and look of the oval of the face and neck. This breakthrough in targeting your concerns via non-invasive customised treatments is revolutionary. Once complete, the analysis will indicate whether you are treated as a Grade 1, 2, 3 or 4. The higher the grade the more actives are used in tandem with more plumping and massage techniques. Each treatment varies in length of time ranging from 90-120 minutes.

Prevention vs Cure

Following your facial treatment in cabin, your professional aesthetician will recommend the home care you should use in order to maintain and maximise the results attained, etween facials. Similar to the facial, the retail products contain actives that plump and firm the skin as well as additional ingredients that improve radiance and texture which are compromised due to aging. SOTHYS Paris offers serums that penetrate into the dermis or second deeper layer of the skin as well as protective creams which sit on the epidermis or outermost layer of the skin to safeguard against free radicals and other micro-organisms which may attack and damage the DNA of our skin cells. Look for the Grade 1-4 Serums and Creams at your spa today and start taking charge of your skin’s age.

The real enemy is a lack of action. Make them wonder how “young” you really are. Call or visit your aesthetician today and remember prevention is always better than cure.
