She was a relatively unknown actress when she was cast in the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen in the movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novel The Hunger Games. But following the success of the first movie, Jennifer Lawrence is set to receive a stellar pay increase to star in the film’s sequel Catching Fire.

According to reports, instead of the $500,000 salary she received for the first movie, Lawrence, 21, will receive a staggering $10 million to reprise her role as Katniss for the follow-up film.

The Hollywood Reporter explained that the figure is a combination of ‘salary, bonuses and escalators’, but if the movie does well at the box office, Jennifer could earn significantly more than $10 million.

The publication also revealed that while fellow Hunger Games stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth will also receive pay raises, they are likely to be much less dramatic than Lawrence’s.

Lawrence has signed a contract to appear in all four Hunger Games movies — the sequel Catching Fire and the final book Mockingjay, which will be split into two films. Production on Catching Fire is set to begin in September, with a tentative release date slated for November 2013.

Bringing Sexy Back again!

He pushed his music to one side in order to focus on an acting career. But now Justin Timberlake is getting back behind the microphone once more and is working on a new album. The singer-turned-actor has been working with producers Timbaland and Jim Beanz on a set of ‘crazy’ tracks for his third solo album.

Jim told website Digital Spy: “When I get back to the States I’m going to be helping out on Shock Value 3 with Timbaland and the Justin Timberlake project. It’s still in the early stages, but they have a lot of tracks.”

He added: “While I’ve been over here in the UK they’ve been working, so by the time I get back they’ll have a whole load of ideas and I’m going to have to catch up!”

The record will be Justin’s first since 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSound, which yielded hits including SexyBack and What Goes Around… Comes Around. Jim said Timberlake is not trying to top his previous work, but rather compete with today’s pop music.

The swimsuit is something of a departure from Lindsay’s usual style, with the actress usually favouring bikinis to show off her figure to its full potential. But perhaps Lindsay is attempting to give herself a bit of makeover, amid reports she is set to star in the next video from eccentric pop star Gaga. The pair first hit the headlines with their friendship when they enjoyed a night out together at Chateau Marmont.
