Halle Berry was a 1986 Miss World hopeful

People Post

Despite their groomed appearance and personal stylists, even A-listers have a few photographic skeletons in the closet. And while still incredibly pretty, this fresh-faced snapshot of Halle Berry vying for the title of Miss World in 1986 is worlds away from her polished Hollywood look of today.

The Monster’s Ball actress can be seen wearing a blush pink swimsuit with USA emblazoned across the chest and a slightly garish gold belt around her middle to accentuate her trim figure. Posing like a real-life Barbie, Halle smiles for the camera in a solo shot and one with her fellow contestants at the London event back in November 1986 with a face full of make-up. Her dark locks look to have been primped into a permed mane while her ears are adorned with gold. The former beauty queen entered several pageants in the 1980s, taking home the title of Miss Teen All-American in 1985 and Miss Ohio USA the following year.

Grammer unbuttons pants on TV to reveal tattoo

He may be pushing 60, but Kelsey Grammer seemed more like a love-struck teenager as he showed off his new tattoo on latenight TV last Tuesday. The 57-year-old revealed his third wife Kayte, 32, asked him to get the ink tribute, and he happily complied.

“I’m actually quite proud of it. It’s strategically placed for viewing!” the actor told Jay Leno. Showing little inhibition, the actor unbuckled his belt and pulled down his trousers to reveal her name, which has been etched into the side of his hip. Kelsey, who was on the chat show to promote political drama series Boss, married former flight attendant Kayte in February 2011 and got the tattoo in April. The pair have since welcomed their first child together, daughter Faith Evangeline Elisa, who was born in July.

How Theroux moved Aniston to tears with romantic proposal

Jennifer Aniston has been filming her latest movie for the past few weeks in North Carolina. But her new fiancé Justin Theroux decided her beloved New York City was the perfect place to propose. It has been revealed the actor popped the question over his 41st birthday meal at the Blue Hill restaurant in Greenwich Village, New York City.

The former Friends star jetted to the Big Apple, where she grew up, for the weekend, as she had time off from filming We Are The Millers. And last Friday night — Justin’s actual birthday — he was the one doing the gift presenting as he whipped out an eight-carat, emerald-cut diamond ring. The simple yet romantic proposal is said to have moved Jennifer to tears. A representative for the Blue Hill restaurant told the New York Post’s PageSix column: “We are thrilled about the news of their engagement, but we cannot comment on any guests.” A source told Life & Style magazine: “It’s a huge emerald-cut diamond. It’s a rectangle with tapered diamond baguettes on the sides. It’s beautiful.”

“Just after Jen got engaged, she called all her friends and told them about it. She said she loves the ring. I think she was overwhelmed and overjoyed by the size and beauty of it!”

Aniston has been dating 41-year-old Theroux, an actor and screenwriter, for the past year, and recently declared: “Yes, I’m very happy. I’m extremely lucky, and I’m extremely happy.”
