Big up Peter Tosh!

I was ecstatic when I read that Peter Tosh would be honoured with an Order of Merit (OM) this year, our 50th Independence anniversary. I believe Mr Tosh is more than deserving of such an honour, and it could not have come at a better time, even though I believe he should have got an honour a long, long time ago.
Peter Tosh helped to fight against injustice, etc. I would also like to let my fellow Jamaicans come to the realisation that smoking ganja and cursing bad words is done among some Jamaicans and that’s nothing to condemn him for. He did a lot of positives through his music, and should be commended, not condemned.
I sincerely commend the government for according him such an honour.
Big up the late Winston Hubert McIntosh, aka Peter Tosh. Long live the memory of Peter Tosh!
