CMS Challenges for Studio 38
A competitive set of fresh-faced hopefuls is expected to do battle for the August titles in Pulse’s first CMS Challenges in 2012 at Studio 38 on Trafalgar Road in St Andrew this evening at 8:00 pm.
The Challenge concept, which was introduced in 2011, has become a fixture of the event with winners to be selected in the runway, swimsuit and later photo competitions for each month leading to the grand finals of the Caribbean Model Search.
CMS 2012 Runway Challenge victors for July are: Blair Whittingham (Petite); Shecardo Daley (Male Face); and, Puma Grant (Fashion Model). Gabrielle Davis, Kenny Wilson and Monique Hudson took the July Swimsuit Challenge titles in the Petite, Male Face and Fashion Model categories respectively. The lucky competitors have attained billboard status in the busy New Kingston city centre, with one board bearing images and a congratulatory message on their accomplishment so far in the Caribbean Model Search.
CMS has had an illustrious history of success and it is through this event that Pulse has launched the careers of Caribbean’s most successful supermodels including multiple Vogue models Jaunel Mc Kenzie, Nell Robinson, Nadine Willis, Gaye Mc Donald, Oraine Barrett and Jeneil Williams among several others.
Entries for CMS 2012 are currently being accepted at the Pulse headquarters on Trafalgar Road in Kingston where interested persons are invited to come in every Wednesday at 4:15 pm with their swim trunks/swimsuits and heels. Persons may also call the Pulse hotline at 960-0049 or visit our facebook page at pulsefashionja for additional details.
