This cuts the list ahead of NCIS, which returns just an hour before this show, because of personal preferences however the original is just as good a show.

The Vampire Diaries

It focuses on the brothers protecting the human Elena from various dangers, however, in last season’s finale Elena was turned into a vampire so this season should have a new feel to it.
