Bobbi Kristina’s ‘brother-lover’ sparks rumours

People Post

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has been been given a spectacular ring by her brother-turnedboyfriend Nick Gordon.

Gordon tweeted a picture of 19-year-old Brown wearing the giant sapphire stone surrounded by diamonds, sparking rumours of an engagement. It was accompanied by the caption, “just a jewelry/gift for the sweetest thing in the world”. Brown responded by tweeting: “(: urthee best boo ! I love you, thank youuu (:(: surprise is right , i love it!” The spectacular jewellery is almost identical to the one worn by the late Princess Diana and now worn by Duchess Catherine of Cambridge.

Brown and Gordon lived together as brother and sister for more than a decade before Houston’s death. The charttopping singer took Gordon into her home at the age of 12 when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him.

Gordon was the superstar’s unofficially adopted son, and she treated him like family up until her death. Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11, 2012. The six-time Grammy award-winning singer died at the age of 48 due to an accidental drowning complicated by heart disease and cocaine use.

Gordon first fuelled rumours about a relationship with Brown in a tweet written in March, shortly after Houston died. He wrote: “Yea we got a little closer and what!!!”

The most fun celebrity out there?

Tom Hanks is well known for playing good guys in the movies. And it seems the Apollo 13 actor’s real-life persona is not so different. In photos that have drawn nearly a million views since being posted on Sunday, Hanks plays along as a fan in a North Dakota restaurant pretends to steal his glasses, slump against him then pass out drunk into a pizza.

The photos, posted to imgur.com, show a seemingly intoxicated male fan slumped up against the Academy Award-winning actor. With pizza and beer on the table in front of them, the young man leans against Hanks while wearing the actor’s thick rimmed prescription glasses askew on this face. In two of the photos, Hanks does his best ‘wasted’ face as his fan slumps first against the actor, then face down into the pizza.

And in a third photo, the 56-year-old A-lister points at his ‘drunk’ fan while laughing hysterically. “My friend met Tom Hanks, stole his glasses and pretended to be wasted,” reads the headline of a post on Reddit linking to the images, which have been viewed more than 974,000 times.

No location was given by the author of the post, but Tom Hanks’ Twitter feed shows the Forrest Gump actor has been on vacation in Fargo, North Dakota, with his wife Rita Wilson. The two were spotted at a West Fargo diner the Saturday before last.

Chad Kroeger’s ex-girlfriend claims he was unfaithful

He may have swept Avril Lavigne off her Doc Marten-booted feet, but it seems Chad Kroeger is in the doghouse with his exgirlfriend Kristen DeWitt.

His former flame has accused the Nickelback rocker of cheating on her with the Complicated singer. DeWitt, 27, has also taken to Twitter in a bid to articulate her shock, saying: “the moment u find out ur ex of four months engaged the girl he was cheating on you with! #classic.” However, she then wrote: “Thx for the sweet comments! Sometimes 140 characters is just not enough for what I would like to say! #whatgoesaroundcomesaround. Learned a lesson. Moved on.”

On Wednesday, it was revealed that 37-year-old Kroeger had popped the question to Avril after just six months of dating, having initially joined forces to write a song for her upcoming fifth album. According to RadarOnline, 27-year-old DeWitt (the same age as Avril) had been dating Kroeger for several years following his break-up from long-time Canadian girlfriend Marianne Goriuk in 2002.
