Fashion Night Out, Lifestyle, Local Lifestyle, Style, Style Observer, Tuesday Style

Spend September 6th at NYC’s Fashion’s Night Out

In case you don’t already know, Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is a huge event held globally that highlights the fashion industry and allows people to mingle with some of their favourite magazine editors, celebrities, models and designers. FNO is the brainchild of Anna Wintour and the team at American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and of course, the best city in the world: the city of New York.

Head over to the official FNO website to create a customary itinerary for yourself that highlights your favorite stores and events. In the mood for Christian Siriano? The designer will be holding an event to mark the opening of his first flagship concept store on Elizabeth Street. While there, enjoy music and drinks, along with a chance to win 2 tickets to Siriano’s Spring 2013 fashion show on September 8th or a $250 gift certificate to his store.

Want to stay a little further uptown? You can check out the events happening at Bloomingdale’s Third Avenue location. Matchbox Twenty, actor Kellan Lutz, actress Kelly Rutherford and designer Carmen Marc Valvo will all be there. There are also a ton of gift offerings with purchases by Marc Jacobs, Reiss, DKNY and Lilly Pulitzer.

This Examiner will be supporting a local Staten Island store, Sanctuary Boutique, and my favorite girls at Honesty Jewelry at FNO this year. If you’re in the mood for some amazing jewelry be sure to head to this event. You do not want to miss out on what Honesty has to offer. Full details have not been finalized, but last update said it will be held at the Gansevoort on Park Avenue. Keep an eye out on the Facebook or Twitter feeds of Sanctuary or Honesty to get all the latest information.

These are only a sampling of the events going on for Fashion’s Night Out this year. Take a peek at the website and imagine the possibilities of where the night can take you.
