Cornwall will hunt rebound against William Knibb
MONTEGO BAY, St James – Defending Under 19 champions Cornwall College will seek to rebound from their upset loss at William Knibb Memorial when they take on winless St James High in an ISSA/KFC double header at the Montego Bay Cricket Club today.
Cornwall College who are tied for the lead with nine points with Green Pond, were upset by William Knibb 68-67 at Martha Brae as the champions lost for the first time this season in the Under 19 section.
At the Under-16 section St James has had a walk-over from Spot Valley on Monday and will be hoping for a second win against an inconsistent Cornwall College.
In another game today Irwin High will travel to Rhodes Hall for an Under 19 game with both teams on identical records of one win and two losses.
On Tuesday, Green Pond and William Knibb shared wins in the Under 16 and Under 19 sections respectively.
Green Pond handed William Knibb their fourth straight loss 36-14; while in the Under 19 section Shavaughn Reid scored 33 points to lead William Knibb to a 59-40 win.
Tomorrow Green Pond will host Holland High in two rescheduled games.
