Michael Jordan is a basketball legend and, allegedly, a great golfer — but none of that mattered at an exclusive country club when he showed up wearing cargo pants. The La Gorce Country Club in Miami, Florida, reportedly kicked Jordan off the links in the middle of his game and banned him from ever returning because he violated the club’s strict dress code. Not even Jordan, with his six NBA championship rings, reported half-billion-dollar fortune and worldwide recognition, could escape the policy at the golf course that demands a tucked-in collared shirt and Bermuda shorts. The New York Post reports that Jordan was midway through his game when a country club employee approached him and said he had to return to the clubhouse and change into different pants.

“I’ve been there many times and no one told me a thing,” Jordan told ESPN Chicago by text message.

“Then all of a sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can’t wear cargo shorts. Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!”

When the retired Chicago Bulls star refused to lose his cargo shorts, he was reportedly told to leave and that he would no longer be welcome back at the club. “We were not aware that he is not allowed to return to La Gorce. I guess it’s their loss — as MJ is a great golfer, and a great guest,” Jordan’s publicist said in a statement. The country club has not commented on the incident.

Eggenschwiler, a New York-based graphic designer and illustrator, has been seen several times with the 23-year-old singer in recent weeks. The Switzerland-born brunette accompanied the trio, Kevin’s wife Danielle, and the boys’ younger brother Frankie, as they ran errands ahead of their concert at Los Angeles’ Pantages Theatre. Eggenschwiler was dressed down in black skinny jeans, chunky boots, an oversized sweater and fedora, while the guys were dressed in jeans and T-shirts. According to Pacific Coast News, the pair are now an item. Apparently, the star was extremely discerning before making it official with Eggenschwiler. A source recently told HollywoodLife.com: “Joe is super picky. He wants a girlfriend and he wants her to be Christian. He’s a really good guy and wants a girl with strong morals.”

The actress and her twin daughters Marion and Tabitha made the new friend during their daytime stroll through New York City. Clearly in the mood to meet new people, the little girl, dressed all in pink, whizzed up alongside the strollers on a scooter and started chatting to Sarah Jessica and her three-year-old twin daughters.

The 47-year-old superstar looked delighted to meet the adorable little one and started chatting animatedly to her as they wandered along the busy road. The blonde-haired girl, who seemed to have whizzed off from her mother, seemed intrigued by the famous mum, who was walking alongside her nanny.
