1. Sister of Toni Braxton and reality television star, Tamar Braxton, makes a huge splash on iTunes with her debut R&B single Love and War, which charted as high as number two on their downloads chart.
2. Using unreleased vocals, a collaborative effort by fast-rising producer Mario Dunwell and Young Vibez Productions, dropped Vybz Kartel’s R&B-flavoured track, Love Yuh To Mi Heart.
3. Rapper The Game, released his fifth studio album today, entitled Jesus Piece. The project features the lead single Celebration, and includes a long list of collaborators such as Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, and a myriad of others.
4. Popular boxer Manny Pacquiao was defeated via knockout against Juan Manuel Marquez. 50 Cent’s boxing promoter debut had a successful start, as his boxer Yuriorkis Gamboa won his bout against Michael Farenas.
5. Eclectic R&B artiste Chrisette Michele released a new mixtape entitled Audrey Hepburn: An Audiovisual Presentation. Guest Appearances on the mixtape include 2 Chainz, Wale, Bilal, and more.

Bacchanal Jamaica had their 2013 Band Launch Féte last Friday evening. The company, which celebrates 25 years of carnival in Jamaica this season, displayed the 2013 Le Masquerade costumes for early bookings.
The costume bands, which all bore French and Italian names, are sponsored by Pure Country, Digicel Jamaica, Appleton Jamaica, Smirnoff, Ammar’s, Jamaica Observer and FAME FM.
