Dangerous Ambitions: Basil Dawkins’ new dramedy
PLAYWRIGHT Basil Dawkins says he is upping the entertainment social commentary bar with his “issues based” new dramedy Dangerous Ambitions, set to premiere at the Little Little Theatre in St Andrew on December 27.
Commenting on the plot of the production, Dawkins explains, “Aspects of this play will bring into sharp focus some shocking realities. But it is intended to be a cautionary tale to all citizens of goodwill for constant vigilance of our leaders and potential leaders in all areas of the country’s life.”
Bringing Dangerous Ambitions to life involves a cast with over 100 years of combined stage and screen experience.
The cast is led by Volier ‘Maffie’ Johnson, Christopher McFarlane, Maylynne Walton, George Howard and Rory Baugh.
Multi-award-winning director Douglas Prout helms the production.
