WITH ever-increasing competition for the New Year’s Eve party crowd, X.clusive Luminaries by Ciroc, held in the Sunken Gardens at Hope Gardens, St Andrew, certainly came up roses.

Government ministers, corporate executives, dancehall artistes, and socialites were among the hundreds who rang in 2013 in fine style.

“This is what X.clusive is about. It’s the coming together of persons who desire the finer things in life,” said Garth Walker, one of the event’s promoters. “And, we do aim please in that regard,” he continued.

On entering the transformed venue, dapper patrons were greeted with a table bearing party favours as well as two large backdrops for photo ops. A long, well-stocked bar was strategically placed along one side of the “heels friendly” dance floor with LED screens at the end while the ‘mounted’ disc jock overlooked his domain.

The food courts provided a reprieve for revellers who opted to delight their taste buds.

The majority of patrons, however, arrived way after the confetti had settled and balloons with notes bearing New Year’s resolutions had disappeared from the morning sky.

DJs Nicco and Cruise provided the evening’s soundtrack as revellers partied into the morning.
