Bell KO enters quarter-final round
TWO of six Corporate Area Premier League teams will bow into action this afternoon as the quarter-finals of the Jamaica Yellow Pages/Jackie Bell Knockout competition get underway with three matches.
In the feature game, Tivoli Gardens entertain Olympic Gardens at the Edward Seaga Complex, starting at 5:00 pm.
Boys’ Town will be the other Premier League team on show on the day, and they will play away to Police National at Shortwood United at 3:00 pm.
The other game between Bull Bay and Barbican at Bull Pen also begins at 3:00 pm.
Two games are also set for tomorrow and another three for Thursday.
Meanwhile, in the Syd Bartlett competition on Sunday, Whitfield Town defeated Red Hills 3-2 to move four points clear at the top of the standings.
In the other game, Central Kingston beat Stony Hill 4-0 to join Red Hills in second with six points.
