They kept that quiet!

People Post

She’s set to perform on one of the world’s biggest stages when she will no doubt put on the greatest show on earth during the 2013 Super Bowl.

And as if that wasn’t enough, it was also confirmed that Beyoncé has been chosen to sing the National Anthem at President Obama’s inauguration.

But adding a hat-trick to what is set to be a big year for the 31-year-old, she announced last Thursday that Destiny’s Child will be releasing new music at the end of January. Making the shock revelation on her website, the singer wrote: “I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years!”

The album, which is entitled Love Songs, is set to hit stores on Tuesday, January 29, just four days before her half-time performance at the Super Bowl XLVII. Love Songs will be a compilation record which features only one new track called Nuclear, which was co-written by Michelle Williams and produced by The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams. Smouldering on the simple monochrome cover of the album, Beyoncé and her bandmates Kelly Rowland, 31, and Williams, 32, stun as they each wore wide-brimmed hats.

All opting for smokey eyes, the Grammy Award-winning trio looked like they’re ready to reclaim their spot at the top of the charts as they sternly gaze into the camera lens. Taking the spot on the centre of the album artwork, Rowland showed off her toned back in a laced-up top as Williams and Knowles look head on.

— Daily MailBritney Spears quits The X FactorHugh Hefner’s new wife signed iron-clad pre-nup before wedding’

Britney Spears has left The X Factor after just one season — after discovering show boss Simon Cowell was about to fire her for being ‘boring’.

The 31-year-old singer jumped before she was pushed as Cowell, 53, made plans to terminate her $15-million contract after her judging style on the show had been heavily criticised, sources close to the show confirmed to MailOnline.

A source close to production explained: “Britney and her team knew it was unlikely she’d be asked back as a judge. The producers have already been making other plans for next season over the holidays. The reality is that toward the end of last season, the main players knew they wanted to replace both Britney and LA Reid. LA Reid wasn’t at the top of his game in second season and he knew that. Britney’s judging was heavily criticised throughout the last season, with critics dubbing her ‘boring’.”

And show insiders complained that she insisted on having breaks every few contestants during auditions and was often unengaged in the whole process.

Crystal Harris is said to have signed an ‘iron-clad’ prenuptial agreement before saying ‘I do’ to her new husband, 86-year-old Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner. A source told US Weekly that while the 26-year-old blonde beauty will be taken care of, she has not been added to his will. Instead, his estimated $43-million fortune will be divided among his four children, the University of Southern California and a list of charities.

The Playmate of the Month reportedly ran from the altar in June 2011 because she got cold feet. The wedding was called off just five days before hand with over 300 guests set to attend. “Last time it turned into a big ordeal and then it all fell apart,” she said.  She also publicly shamed her now husband, saying that she had only been intimate with him once — and very briefly. She admitted sex with the octogenarian lasted “like two seconds”, adding: “Then I was just over it. I was like, ‘Ahhh.’ I was over it”.

The pair reconciled in May last year, and Hefner has recently said that he wants to stay with Crystal until he dies.
