Bruce Willis brushes off embarrassing interview
He made an almost disastrous appearance on BBC’s The One Show last Wednesday evening, causing him to be labelled ‘ignorant and incoherent’.
But Bruce Willis brushed off the torturous interview and set about promoting his latest movie, A Good Day To Die Hard, last Thursday once more.
The actor was the A-list guest at the London premiere of the film at the Empire in Leicester Square. And he seemed to have put the TV appearance behind him as he happily posed for pictures smiling widely at the screening. He walked on the red carpet with his wife, Emma Heming, who looked glamorous in a bright orange frock. For a while at least she seemed to take the heat off Bruce as she showed off her slender physique in the get-up.
She arrived in the drizzly weather showing off her legs in some strappy metallic shoes, but it took her a while to brave the cold, covering up with a silver jacket resting on her shoulders.
But she soon took it off, ready to show off her ensemble to the waiting photographers and fans. And one thing’s for sure, she didn’t seem to have minded Willis’ awkward interview just 24 hours earlier.

Madame Tussauds unveils four Whitney Houston waxworks
Whitney Houston has been immortalised after Madame Tussauds officials unveiled images of four new waxworks of the tragic singer. The tribute to the star, who died a year ago on the eve of the Grammy Awards last year, is the first time in 200 years that museum bosses have created so many different figures of the same person at the same time, reported People magazine. The waxworks were created in London, but they will be displayed at museums in separate cities, according to insiders, and they were unveiled in New York last Thursday.
The singer’s former manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston was on hand to unveil the collection with her husband and Whitney’s brother, Gary. She said: “We were extremely honoured when Madame Tussauds approached us about doing four figures of Whitney from different points in her 30-year career. This is something we are excited to do for the fans.”
The four statues represent iconic moments in the singer’s life. Houston performing the national anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl is going to Washington DC’s Tussauds and Hollywood will get her in her 1992 movie The Bodyguard. Las Vegas will display the young Houston as seen in her 1988 video for I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) and New York will exhibit a more recent likeness of the singer, from a 2009 photo shoot for her final studio album.
