TODAYFamily funday and concert

Rainforest Seafood Festival takes place at Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay. Attractions for the kids to include bounce-about, face painting, water slide and mechanical bull. Entertainment package to include I-Octane, Romain Virgo, Prodigal Son, Tifa, Chronixx, Beenie Man, Ity and Fancy Cat and DJ Bones.

The fun kicks off at 11:00 am

Reggae Praise

The concert series, Reggae Wednesday, continues at Emancipation Park in St Andrew with Reggae Praise.

The event — which starts at a new time 2:00 pm — will focus on Jamaica’s gospel music scene and will feature Judy Mowatt, Emanuelle Choir, Ian Spencer, Lubert Levy, Priest and Yahni Righteous.

Pre-Valentine’s party

A pre-Valentine’s party will be held at 30B East Kings House Road, St Andrew. Soundsystem Silver Bullet with Lippy and the Crew, along with Gunas.Party time is 9:30 pm

Heelz N Wheelz ‘Super Street Edition’

Car lovers are expected to have an adrenalline-filled day with Heelz N Wheelz ‘Super Street Edition’ at the National Stadium parking lot in St Andrew. Showtime: 10:00 am.

Day of Fellowship and Gospel Explosion

The United Church presents a day of fellowship and explosion at Whitehall Estates, St Mary. Slated to perform are Prodigal Son, Omari, Kevin Downswell, Lubert Levy, Levy’s Heritage, Wendell McKoy and Jabez.Showtime: 2:00 pm.

Soca cookout party

Socalicious, a Soca Cookout Party, is slated to be held at Wickie Wackie Beach, Bull Bay, St Andrew. Music will be provided by ZJ Ice, DJ Billy and Mez Liquidity. Starting time: 4:00 pm

A Valentine’s affair

George Nooks and Spanner Banner will headline A Valentine’s Affair at Bourbon Beach in Negril, Westmoreland.

MC will be Suzie Q from Video Alley. Showtime 9:30 pm.

Comedy and fashion show

Valentine’s Day Laughter & Fashion Show will be held at the Olympia Crown Hotel on Molynes Road in St Andrew.

The evening will feature designs from Caj Lingerie Collection while comedian Leighton Smith will provide the laughter. The event begins at 7:00 pm

Nickeshia Barnes’ Official EP Launch

Singer Nickeshia Barnes will be launching her EP Lovers and Soul at the Mystix Plaza roof, 78 3/4 Hagley Park Road, St Andrew beginning at 9:00 pm.

The launch will see performances from Ken Boothe, Errol Dunkley as well Barnes singing tracks from her EP.
