PHOTO: Happy 80th Mama!

Leslie Williams (left) and her brother Lloyd help their mother Lurline cut her sewing machine-themed birthday cake at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in Kingston on Sunday afternoon in the presence of close friends and family. The 80-year-old family matriarch, who has been a seamstress all her life, is active in the Old Harbour Bay senior citizens’ group and the wider community. Leslie is her only daughter, while Lloyd is her second of six sons. The others are Samuel, Vincent, Basil, Bruce, and Cleve.
