TODAY

One Blood concert

Junior ‘One Blood’ Reid and sons will be in concert at Roots Bamboo, Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril today.

Also on the show are Sister Doreen and Jamaica’s Michael Jackson. The show starts at 8:00 pm.

FRIDAY

Fantastic Fridays

Mas Camp at Stadium North is set to erupt with another staging of Bacchanal’s Fantastic Fridays.

Excitement starts at 8 pm.

Mystic Mountain Experience

If height is the thing for you, the Mystic Mountain experience in Ocho Rios in St Ann will fit right in.

Patrons will get the chance to “soar to the top” on the sky explorer and enjoy an evening of three-course dinner accompanied by a entertainment with a bird’s eye view of Ocho Rios. There will also be a two-for-one bobsled ride until 8:00 pm.

Lift off at 6:30 pm.

Ultimate Praise and Worship Experience

The Original Faith Apostolic Church, Parry Town, Ocho Rios will be hosting the ultimate praise and worship experience. All are invited to come and be blessed.

Starting time will be 7:00 pm

SATURDAY

Fashion Face Of The Caribbean

French model David Agbodgi is Saint International’s special guest for its Fashion Face Of The Caribbean and Jamaica’s Avant Garde Designer Of The Year contests, scheduled for the Courtleigh Auditorium on Saturday, March 16.

Edwin Myers album launch

Gospel singer Edwin Myers will be launching his album Your Time Will Come at the Mamby Park Baptist Church, 161 Constant Spring Road, St Andrew.

Special guest artistes at the event will be Sister Scully, Lubert Levy, Bro West, Glen Graham, Barbara Jones, Theophilus Brown, Bishop Delroy Willis and many more.

Proceeds will be aid of the Mamby Park Baptist Church and Errol Rattray Ministries.

Launch begins at 7:00 pm

Wee Pow birthday bash

Winston ‘Wee Pow’ Powell, popular founder/owner of the Stone Love Movements sound system, celebrates his birthday at the ‘sound’s Burlington Avenue headquarters on Saturday.

Powell will be joined by several special guest artistes and contemporaries of Stone Love.

In 1973, the Manchester-born Powell started Stone Love which celebrated its 40th anniversary in December.

Brompton stageshow

A concert, simply titled Bromptom, will take place at Cutty’s Car Wash in Bromptom, St Elizabeth.

The show will feature performances from Sizzla, General Trees, Caveman Family and the Judgement Yard family among others.

Show time is 9:00 pm

SUNDAY

Matterhorn birthday bash

Selector/artiste Tony Matterhorn will be celebrating his birthday with a big bash at Waves Beach in Portmore, St Catherine on Sunday.

Dubbed Tony Matterhorn Soiree, the bash will feature performances from some of his friends in the business.

Empowerment conference

Alvin Day, author of If Caterpillars Can Fly So Can I, presents a free empowerment conference on Sunday, March 17, at the Jamaica College Auditorium in St Andrew.

Presentation from 3:00 pm to 6 pm.

JMMC sprint

Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) Sprint number 2 will take place at the Badda Badda Raceway in Richmond Priory, St Ann.

Come see racing royalty Matthew Gore, Jordan Powell, Daryll King, Joel Jackson, Keith Saunders and many more battle for supremacy.

Action starts at 11:30 am.

D Brown concert

The Dennis Brown concert is scheduled for Kingston Waterfront today at 5:00 pm.

The show, which postponed twice, is organised by the Dennis Emmanuel Brown Trust, the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA), Leggo Records and Sounds & Pressure since in 2009.

Thirty acts are slated to perform, including Beres Hammond, Freddy McGregor, Tarrus Riley, Richie Stephens, Mighty Diamonds, Big Youth, Errol Dunkley, Junior Reid, Carl Dawkins, Iba Mahr, and Lloyd Parks & We the People Band.
