Merritt clocks 44.69 to win Stockholm 400m

KINGSTON, Jamaica —  World Champion Lashawn Merritt won the Diamond League’s men’s 400M event, clocking 44.69 seconds in Stockholm, Sweden Thursday.

Luguelin Santos of the Dominican Republic was second in 45.25 from Pavel Maslak of the Czech Republic in 45.33.
