NINE years after first hitting the charts with their Anger Management rhythm, sibling producers David and Craig Harrisingh are looking to step up their game in a changing market.

The Harrisinghs have new releases from their DASECA Productions label, by deejay Bugle, and newcomers Sagitarr and Dexta Daps.

Bugle has been with DASECA since 2007, and is its flagship artiste. Singjay Sagitarr and deejay Dexta Daps recently came on board.

“They are very talented and dedicated; we are doing a lot of work with them in the studios. I’m confident that it won’t be long before both of them become household names in Jamaica,” said Craig, the younger of the brothers.

Sagitarr’s I’ll Follow You and One Draw, and Mi Like A Gyal and Get High by Dexta Daps are among the latest releases from DASECA.

According to Craig, the music business has changed since they hit with the Anger Management.

“The biggest and most notable changes are directly related to technology. Both the technology used to make music as well as the technology used to distribute and promote it,” he said.

“Computers have made it so easy to make music now, that you don’t even have to be a musician anymore. It has broadened the definition of the word ‘producer’,” he added.

The Anger Management yielded several hits including Real McKoy by Movado and Anything from Alaine.

Bugle’s What We Gonna Do (Exercise), released in 2007, was another big hit for DASECA; so too, A So Mi Tan from Konshens in 2011.
