CONGRATS!

Reanna Jarrett can hardly contain her joy as she displays the plaque she received for winning the regional Junior Division of the FCCA Foundation Environmental Poster Competition. As a

reward for her poster “Let’s Work as a Team to Make our Future Green, Reanna and her school,

Corinaldi Avenue Primary, also received cash awards.

The Jamaica Tourist Board which organizes the

national contest from which Reanna was chosen to represent Jamaica, was among the group of persons

on hand to express their congratulations to Reanna. From left are: Sandra Scott, Deputy Director Tourism, Marketing, the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB); Shauna Housen, Tourism Awareness Officer, JTB; Dane Julius, Teacher, Corinaldi Avenue Primary School, Cynthia Munroe, Principal, Corinaldi Avenue Primary School and Renil Kuruvilla, Hotel Director of Carnival Cruise Line. The FCCA Foundation Environmental Poster Competition is open to all primary and secondary school students and seeks to promote and stimulate environmental awareness among students.
