Members of the St Ann Homecoming and Heritage Foundation Committee (from left) Norma Walters, Camille Levert, Carlene Shirley, Andrea Mumby, Paul Pottinger, Dorothy Salmon, Custos of St Ann Radcliffe Walters, patron Rose Virgo, committee Chairman Lance Neita, Loreen O’Reilly, Anthony O’Reilly, Annette Redway, Michelle Giscombe, and Vana Taylor took advantage of a photo op after the foundation’s annual banquet on Saturday, August 10 at Sunset Grande, Ocho Rios.The banquet is a fund-raiser for charitable projects in the parish of St Ann, including support for needy primary school children, scholarships and essay competitions, and the establishment and operation of a Marcus Garvey Centre opened at the St Ann Parish Library in August 2012, to focus attention on Garvey’s philosophy of excellence in various areas of study.
