Booba Starr reflects with Neva Easy
Singjay Booba Star looks hit-bound with his latest single, the autobiographical
Neva Easy.
The song reflects on the struggles he has endured. It was produced by Julius ‘Zege’ Mitchell and released by Jafrika Records.
The 28-year-old was born Dane Salmon and grew up in Greater Portmore. His interest in music developed while attending Kingston College.
“I used to write poems and songs in high school and I would often entertain my family and friends by performing for them,” Booba Starr recalled.
He developed his live skills on the Hard Drive sound system and in 2010 was introduced to Trevor ‘TC’ Clarke, owner of Jafrika Records, who produced his first single Things Change.
