Wray & Nephew launches Skyy Vodka
J Wray & Nephew Limited officially launched Skyy Vodka in Jamaica at an exclusive event held at Villa Ronai on Tuesday.
The brand is owned by Wray & nephew parent Gruppo Campari.
Ugo Fiorenzo, senior market director at J Wray & Nephew Limited heralded the event as an important milestone.
“Tonight we are here to celebrate the fact that Skyy Vodka is now being bottled in Jamaica. This event marks a very important milestone in the modern history of J Wray & Nephew Limited and the Skyy brand,” Fiorenzo said.
“For the consumer this is cause for great celebration because the fact that we have brought the bottling of Skyy to Jamaica means that we will be able to reposition this world-class premium vodka so that it is available in Jamaica at a more attractive price point,” he added.
At the launch event, two bottles from the first case of Skyy Vodka to come off the bottling line at J Wray & Nephew Limited were presented to the Minister of Tourism, Dr Wykeham McNeill and the CEO of Gruppo Campari, Bob Kunze-Concewitz.
The brand sells nearly three and a half million cases worldwide and remains one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry.
