OCEAN Style to honour Mission Catwalk’s Keneea Linton-George
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica — Mission Catwalk’s Keena Linton-George has been selected to be the recipient of the prestigious OCEAN Style Fashion Award for 2013.
“We applaud and recognise the extraordinary vision and direction that Keena Linton-George has brought to life through her celebrated TV series,” Douglas Gordon, OCEAN Style editor-in-chief said Friday.
“By pushing the envelope and giving fashionistas and aspiring designers a behind-the-scenes view of the hard-nosed and fiercely competitive world of high fashion, Mrs Linton-George and her show have steadily gained credibility and popularity,” OCEAN Style said in its announcement of the award.
“We use the platform of our FashionShowcase Weekend to highlight the best-of-the-best in Caribbean lifestyle and fashion and based on the impact that Mission Catwalk has made on the fashion industry in three short years, it would be remiss not to recognise her.”
